Bio
Serena Oquin was born in Twentynine Palms, California, and moved to Arizona at a young age. Raised with a strong sense of discipline and teamwork instilled by her father, a Marine, Serena learned early on to always strive for excellence—lessons that have guided her throughout her life. She excelled in academics and team sports in high school, which paved the way for her acceptance into Arizona State University.
Upon entering the workforce, Serena began her career with JPMorgan Chase in the financial sector. She quickly advanced through roles in mortgage processing, underwriting, sales, and sales management, ultimately becoming Vice President of Branch Operations. Seeking to broaden her expertise, Serena transitioned to NuVida as a collection's specialist, where she applied her extensive financial experience to drive success.
Outside of work, Serena enjoys spending time with her husband, Gabriel, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Phil. Her personal interests include cooking, visiting museums, reading, and playing tennis—activities that fuel her creativity and passion. Serena’s diverse background and leadership skills make her an invaluable asset to any team, combining a relentless pursuit of excellence with a deep commitment to helping others succeed.
