Bio

Suzanne has 20+ years of accounting and finance experience, having started her career with a Fortune 500 company on the east coast as a financial analyst. Upon relocating to Arizona, she became a controller at multiple medium sized construction companies which transitioned into an audit manager position at Moss Adams. While at Moss Adams, Suzanne managed multiple audits in the construction, healthcare, government and entertainment industries. She performed audits of cost management, internal control, contract compliance, fraud analysis, process improvement and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Returning to the private sector, Suzanne became Chief Financial Officer of a real estate development firm with over 50 entities spanning the retail, restaurant, healthcare, real estate, and car wash industries. When the firm sold their car wash businesses, Suzanne left to become the Acting CFO / Corporate Controller of the new entity where, relying on her Moss Adams experience, she has established internal control, reporting requirements, GAAP accounting compliance, and software implementation. Her most recent role as Corporate Controller at a national education firm had her overseeing 30 employees in multiple accounting departments where she implemented policies, procedures, and efficiencies which has resulted in a decrease in accounting close and the start of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. She is excited to be part of the NuVida team where emphasis on growth, efficiency, and maximizing effectiveness aligns with her experience. Suzanne has a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Finance from Fordham University and a Master in Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant.
